Parisian Building Study

I started this drawing the first day in Paris. I was very inspired to just try to draw one of it's buildings. I then worked on the inking over the following couple of days.

Wait! Come Back!

I have decided to return here with the drawings I have decided to do since going to Europe and going forward. I feel that they are too spread out from all the pictures and writing and I want this blog to be ongoing. So please return if you have gone away and just want to look at artwork...

In Europe

If anyone is wondering why I have not posted in awhile, it is because I am in Europe for the summer and have started a new blog to follow my travels. It will include stories, pictures, drawings and paintings that I complete during my adventure. If you'd like to check in, the url is:

Be back here after the summer.

Cheers!

Neptune - The Picture Book Project

A friend of mine is putting together a coloring book for orphaned children and asked if I would do an illustration. So here's the black and white for the kiddies and my colored version. I'll keep you posted on the progress of the book. If you'd like to see more from the book, check out www.picturebookproject.blogspot.com

Bronx Zoo at La Cita

Did these earlier today at a bar downtown, La Cita. They host a weekly drawing show where girls pose in bikinis and wear gorilla masks. I pretty much laughed the entire time.

These are a collection of some five and eight minute poses that I've done recently after work. Done with a Pilot HI-TEC-C pen, pencil and Tria markers.

Cornelius "Elzy Williams" McGinnis

Lately it looks like I am obsessed with funny hats, large mustaches and lots of hair... draw what you know, right?
